台灣擁有豐富的生態資源，過去也有「昆蟲王國」之稱，因此本組以昆蟲作為主體，希望藉由此設計推廣台灣的生態資源，以獨特而巧妙的手法呈現它們的外形與特徵，讓大眾留下深刻的印象，同時也進一步加深對特有種昆蟲的認識。在這個創作中，以尊重自然的態度，將機械的冰冷與昆蟲的生機相結合，這樣的結合不僅展現了人類與自然的共生關係，也象徵著科技與生物之間的和諧與共融。
